Human resources for health country profiles : Papua New Guinea

Abstract

This Human Resources for Health Country Profile: Papua New Guinea (PNG) aims to provide a comprehensive picture of health workforce situation in the country based on the most updated human resource (HR) information. For the first time in many years, PNG could institute a comprehensive and updated HR Information database as of 2018. This document will serve as basis for the government and partners in developing policies and strategies to strengthen the Human Resources for Health in the country. It serves as the baseline information for the development of the National Human Resources for Health Strategic Plan 2021-2030.
